Yoga is a practice that is growing in popularity among women and men. Many people do yoga because it helps relieve stress and helps them lose weight. Others do it simply because it makes them feel good. Additionally, there are many other benefits that can be reaped from doing yoga. Some of them include: a healthier heart, improved blood pressure, improved concentration and better posture. The people who get the greatest benefits of yoga are those who get the most of of their class.

The key to getting the most out of one’s yoga class is to dress appropriately. Wearing the appropriate attire will allow a person to be comfortable and move around more freely. There are many stores that sell attire that is just for people who do yoga, but most people have the appropriate clothing right in their closets. Women should wear something like a tank top and shorts. Men should consider wearing a wife-beater and jogging pants. Most instructors tell their students to do yoga barefooted, so shoes are not an issue for a yoga class.

Those are just suggestions, but the most important thing is to find something that one can comfortably wear for an hour or so.
